Data Science, Applied AI & Quantitative Consulting

I turn complex, messy data into decisions you can act on.

PhD physicist and applied-AI engineer. A decade building production machine learning, LLM agents, and quantitative models — systems that hold up under real-world scrutiny.

Work With Me
What I Do

How I Can Help

Scientific rigor, applied to systems that have to work in production.

📊

Data Science & Applied AI

End-to-end machine learning and LLM systems — predictive models, anomaly detection, retrieval (RAG), and agentic assistants. Developing capabilities that drive value for customers.

📈

Quantitative Analysis & Modeling

Rigorous modeling of messy, real-world data. Bayesian and hierarchical models, survival analysis, and feature engineering on noisy sensor and time-series data. First-principles thinking from a physics background.

✈️

Flight Instruction

FAA Certified Flight Instructor (Instrument). Primary and instrument instruction, flight reviews, and checkouts under 14 CFR Part 61. Flight- and engine-data review to target each learner's weak points.

About Me

Physicist by training, builder by practice. A decade taking technical systems from idea to production — most recently applied AI and machine learning in aviation.

At Savvy Aviation I build production-grade, customer-facing ML and LLM systems for applications critical to aviation safety. They flag developing engine problems before failure and give operators grounded, checkable answers from messy data. As Director of the Savvy Aviation Foundation, I lead research applying LLM classification and survival analysis to NTSB accident data.

I'm also a Major in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve's Marine Innovation Unit, evaluating emerging technology, and an FAA Certified Flight Instructor. Physics PhD, semiconductor R&D, military leadership — a multidisciplinary lens on every problem.
